Docol Group is looking for a dedicated Surveyor Assistant to support surveying activities on the Sima Hotel & Mall Project in Mogadishu. The selected candidate will assist the Surveyor Lead with daily fieldwork, data collection, equipment setup, and measurements to ensure the accuracy and progress of construction layouts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting land, topographic, and construction surveys.
Set up and operate surveying instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS).
Record and organize survey data and field notes.
Support layout marking and elevation checks for construction works.
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure survey accuracy.
Maintain survey equipment and ensure all tools are in working order.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of field experience in surveying or construction.
Basic knowledge of surveying tools and measurement techniques.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and site plans.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
Effective communication skills in English; Somali is an advantage.
