Job Summary
Docol Group is seeking a highly skilled Structural Draftsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural and architectural drawings, ensuring precision, quality, and compliance with project specifications and standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams on fast-paced, high-end projects. Docol Group is hiring a Surveyor Night Lead with over 10 years of experience in civil and structural surveying, specifically in large-scale commercial projects such as malls and hotels. This position plays a critical role in overseeing all night shift surveying activities to ensure precision and alignment with design specifications and construction timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify structural, architectural, and finishing drawings based on project specifications.
Prepare soft drawings and detailed drawings with accuracy and clarity.
Develop MEP coordination drawings to ensure proper system integration.
Prepare comprehensive as-built drawings for project documentation.
Produce Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) aligned with structural detail drawings.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design feasibility and structural integrity.
Work efficiently on multiple projects with strict timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and internal quality procedures.
Utilize advanced drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit to deliver precise and high-quality outputs.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Structural Draftsman in the construction or engineering sector.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
Strong understanding of structural and architectural detailing.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
