About the Role
Docol Group is seeking a reliable Operator Foreman who can both manage our fleet and step in as an operator when needed. You will supervise drivers, ensure fleet readiness and safety, and help operate machinery or vehicles yourself as required. You’ll be key to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. Docol Group is hiring a Surveyor Night Lead with over 10 years of experience in civil and structural surveying, specifically in large-scale commercial projects such as malls and hotels. This position plays a critical role in overseeing all night shift surveying activities to ensure precision and alignment with design specifications and construction timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the fleet of vehicles & drivers: scheduling, performance, maintenance.
Operate vehicles/machinery as needed (trucks, site equipment) safely and per standards.
Inspect vehicles daily, report defects, ensure preventative maintenance.
Enforce safety rules, PPE compliance, and ensure drivers follow safe driving practices.
Coordinate with site supervisors and logistics team for movement of materials & machinery.
Maintain logs & records: vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver hours, etc.
Train and mentor drivers & operators in safe operation, proper handling, and best practices.
Support in fleet procurement or replacement planning where needed.
Requirements
Diploma / Technical certification, or equivalent experience in fleet operations or heavy equipment operation.
Proven experience as fleet supervisor, foreman or senior operator.
Ability to operate relevant construction vehicles / machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus (basic maintenance, troubleshooting).
Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
Strong organizational ability & attention to detail.
Good command of English (spoken & written).
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to handle pressure.
