Electrical Technician

Docol Group is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Technician to join the Sima Hotel & Mall Project in Mogadishu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems in accordance with safety and compliance standards. This is a key technical role requiring precision, problem-solving, and in-depth knowledge of electrical systems in large-scale developments. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Interpret and work from electrical diagrams and technical drawings.

  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements of electrical components.

  • Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and site safety protocols.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on systems.

  • Coordinate with engineers and project managers for timely task completion.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical work, specifically within high-rise building and 5-star hotel construction projects.

  • Proven ability to read, interpret, implement, and design blueprints and electrical layouts.

  • Demonstrated track record of successful electrical installations on complex construction sites.

  • Strong understanding of safety codes and national/international electrical standards.

  • Fluency in English is required.

  • Relevant certifications and technical diplomas in Electrical Engineering or related field.
